 What is your character's personality like? What do they like or dislike? What made them that way? At least 3-4 sentences. Corinne is a soft-spoken woman, but there is some more to it. Corinne carries a lot of appreciation and respect for most people, even if they wrong her. It's hard to take her spirit down; she's always bound to be smiling her way through anything. True, there is an element of school pride in there too, and she's not afraid to show it. As in, when there is a match going, and one of her favorite teams is playing, expect Corinne to be fully decked out in support of her team. On that note, she's remarkably infamous for claiming she shows no favoritism. Well, she has no favorites among her students and they all know it. But her students like to joke about how she actually has favorite teams and whatnot. But Corinne dismisses that with her signature excuse: "It is nigh impossible to actually have a favorite person." Corinne's also very fun to be around with, and she makes some people's days go better with just her presence. She's an optimist at heart, ever since she was given a second chance at life, or she thinks of that. What is your character's history? How did they find out about their supernatural genes? At least 5-7 sentences. Corinne Valentina Hertz was born on a warm July 4th, 1992, in Helsinki, Finland. Except, there is just one thing... Corinne was born a few weeks premature, with an unwanted guest... a defective heart. It wasn't something that could kill in an instant, it was just an irregular heart rhythm. But even that was disaster enough. Barely a year old, and Corinne had to deal with a pacemaker. Fun, right? Regardless, it helped solve things... for now. Corinne could finally enjoy life for what it is. She made some good friends too. It was all fun and games until... it came back. Around Corinne's sixth birthday, her heart struck again. The pacemaker hadn't worked as intended and things looked grim for Corinne. The only way it seemed, for her to live, was a heart transplant. But a donor was needed... a month passes, and someone comes by. One of Corinne's best friends. She came with one intent. She wanted to die so Corinne could live. A few certainty checks later... and the deed was done. Corinne now had a healthy heart and no longer needed anything more. Corinne wasn't aware that a friend had sacrificed her life so Corinne could have her own life back. At least until some time later, she didn't need to know yet. Regardless, Corinne went to train with her parents, who were skilled climbers. However... Corinne seemed a lot better than her parents. Around age 10, it was official. Corinne had a superhuman climbing ability, because she had done things you'd not believe. It was extraordinary at first. Many were baffled at how she did what she did. Corinne doesn't know either. She says it just happens. It was a year later, that she had received a letter from and had a dream about, Olympus Academy. An academy for those who are supernatural. Corinne was baffled for a moment, because she didn't think she was supernatural. But she was special, according to what she read and dreamt. So she set out to make the journey, opting to be taken there by her uncle, who was also a supernatural being. She promptly began schooling in Olympus Academy. Corinne faced a bit of discrimination when she was in school, being that she was just a regular human, only really having her superhuman climbing ability. She stood strong though, and made it through, despite the, while few, threats that came her way. At one point, her uncle took the time to tell her about the friend that she carries within her; the friend who sacrificed their life for Corinne to have one. Corinne cried in joy at the thought, and her uncle told her to stay strong, because that is what her friend would have only wanted of her. Corinne went on to graduate with honors, being one of the top 10 in her class year. She took a year for herself after graduating, to travel a little. Maybe climb a mountain or two. You know. Anyway, after that year, Corinne returned to teach at Olympus Academy. She started out teaching History 101, before moving to become the Theater professor, and recently moving to teach Humanity and the Supernaturals. The coming year would mark her second year teaching Humanity and the Supernaturals, and she is excited and nervous. But who knows what happens next... What is your character's appearance like?
